High School
Our High School program prepares students for college and career. We talk with students about their personality type, career aspirations, life skills, and meet with local business leaders for a business lunch to allow students to ask questions.

Spring Formal
It takes a lot to prepare for adulthood, but mostly it takes practice and experience. From learning practical tips like how to develop a resume or fill out a W-4, to attending an entertainment event and formal dinner, students in our high school program are prepared to succeed in any environment. Throughout these events we focus on being genuine in their interactions to ensure future success.

Class 1
Mocktail Event
Our first event of the season is a mocktail event where our students practice getting and eating hors d'oeuvres, mocktails, and networking. We provide prompts and guided instruction to help them learn how to get into and out of conversations, gracefully change the subject of a conversation, introduce themselves to new people, and make new contacts. This practice is crucial in preparing them to successfully network in the future!

Class 2
Leveraging Strengths for the Future
As students prepare for the future they need to know how to leverage their personalities -- not fit into some box. We spend a whole class doing a personality assessment and discussing how to further develop their strengths (and weaknesses!) into future opportunities.
-
Class 3
Business Luncheon
This invaluable experience provides high schoolers with the opportunity to practice their dining skills while getting advice from leaders in different industries. They practice going through a buffet line, turn-taking in conversation, and get to ask questions of our highly experienced guests
-
Class 4
Money Management
We spend this whole class preparing students for the future, talking through the purposes of future financial documents of which they should be aware (10-99, W4, etc.), and go through a whole mock budgeting activity, giving them different monthly budgets and challenges to help them think through how they might manage their money once they’re on their own!
-
Entertainment Event
Students practice going through a buffet and mingling at a formal reception before attending an entertainment event. This event helps to connect the dots they’ve learned over the years in Cotillion. Between learning to eat finger foods, guided mingling, and practicing being good guests at a community event, this event is one of the highlights of the High School season!

Spring Formal
Our Spring formal consists of a 5-course meal where we review the proper way to navigate through the meal and engage in polite conversation. Students and parents are also invited to participate in the Parent Honor Dance at the end of the evening.
