Dress Code | Classes

Gentleman

Gentleman are encouraged to wear khaki pants, dress shirts, ties, and navy or dark blazers. No flip flops, open-toed, or athletic shoes should be worn.

Ladies

Ladies should wear conservative Sunday dresses or skirts and dress shoes for dancing. No flip flops, open-toed, or athletic shoes should be worn.

Dress Code | Grand Spring Ball

Gentleman

Gentlemen are invited to wear a black suit (or tuxedo if your student is feeling extra dapper!), or dark pants and dinner jacket if that’s more suitable for your student. We know it can be costly to buy a suit for growing boys, so if you already have dark pants and a dark jacket that will work just fine. A white button-up shirt and tie are requisite. Please avoid athletic shoes, and opt instead for dress shoes.

Ladies

Ladies are encouraged to wear a party dress. We advise that dresses are knee-length or longer, but please ensure long dresses will not interfere with dancing. We also recommend avoiding strapless or spaghetti strap dresses. We dance the majority of the evening and we have seen some unfortunate clothing mishaps with these kinds of dresses. Please try to avoid shoes that are backless or open-toed, as these can be difficult to dance in. Also, be mindful of the students’ comfortability in terms of heel height. As mentioned, we dance the majority of the evening and we want the students to be comfortable.

Policies

Safe learning environment

Our program emphasizes kindness above all else and we take that charge very seriously. If any derogatory, racist, or prejudiced language or actions are used in our classes, we reserve the right to ask that student to discontinue their enrollment in our program with no refund.

Inclusion

To ensure our classes are an inclusive and positive environment for all, please don’t hesitate to share any important information about your student. We want this program to be a good experience for everyone and we are happy to accommodate individual learning or personal needs.

Allergies

We are happy to accommodate food allergies for our instructional meals but are unable to provide alternatives for class refreshments. Please feel free to send an allergen-friendly option with your student if necessary or reach out to figure out the best accommodation.
